Victor Maynard, played by Bill Nighy, is a highly skilled hitman with a reputation for being the best in the business. He lives a quiet life, following his mother's strict rules and keeping his work discreet. However, his routine is disrupted when he is hired to kill Rose, a young woman played by Emily Blunt.
