The Third Man is a British television series that aired in 1959. The series is set in Vienna and follows the adventures of American novelist Holly Martins as he investigates the mysterious death of his friend Harry Lime. Along the way, he meets a cast of characters including Lime's former lover and a police officer who may or may not be trustworthy. As Martins delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a web of corruption and deceit that threatens his own life. The series is based on the 1949 film of the same name and features many of the same characters and settings, but with a new storyline.
