Quark follows the adventures of Adam Quark, played by Richard Benjamin, the commander of the United Galaxy Sanitation Patrol Cruiser. Quark is joined by a quirky and eclectic crew, including the beautiful and intelligent Bettys, a race of clones named after famous Earth celebrities (Betty I, Betty II, etc.), a mysterious alien named Ficus, who resembles a plant, and the cowardly robot Gene/Jean.
Throughout the series, Quark and his crew encounter various bizarre and humorous situations as they clean up space debris and garbage. They come across strange alien civilizations, deal with malfunctioning technology, and face off against villains intent on disrupting their missions. Despite their unusual circumstances, the crew members develop close bonds and work together to overcome challenges.
