Lost in Space is a science fiction television series that originally aired in 2018 and is available on Netflix. The series is a reimagining of the 1965 show of the same name. The story follows the Robinson family who are selected to be part of a mission to colonize Alpha Centauri. However, their spacecraft, the Resolute, is attacked by an unknown force and the family, along with other colonists, are forced to evacuate using small flying vehicles known as Jupiter pods.

The Robinsons crash-land on a harsh and unfamiliar planet, and must work together to survive and find a way off the planet. The family is made up of parents John and Maureen, their three children; Judy, Penny, and Will, and their robot companion.
