The series follows the team of U.S. Marshals, led by Annie Frost (played by Kelli Giddish), as they track down and apprehend dangerous fugitives across Texas. Annie is a tough and determined agent who struggles to balance her high-pressure job with her personal life, particularly her relationship with her brother, who is a drug addict.
The team also includes Jimmy Godfrey (played by Cole Hauser), a skilled marksman and former Army Ranger; Marco Martinez (played by Amaury Nolasco), a former gang member with street smarts; Daisy Ogbaa (played by Rose Rollins), a weapons and technical expert; and Luke Watson (played by Jesse Metcalfe), a recent addition to the team with a troubled past.
Throughout the series, the team faces a variety of challenges and dangerous situations, from pursuing escaped convicts to protecting witnesses and handling tense negotiations. Along the way, they also deal with personal issues and relationships, including Annie's unresolved feelings for her ex-boyfriend and boss, who is now in a relationship with another member of the team.
Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, Chase gained a devoted fanbase during its short run and is remembered for its intense action sequences, strong characters, and diverse cast.
