Austin City Limits (ACL) is a musical series that has been on the air since 1974 and has become one of the premiere showcases for both established and up-and-coming musical acts in the United States. The show is filmed at the Moody Theater in downtown Austin, Texas, which opened in 2011, where it continues to draw crowds of fans who come to see performances by some of the biggest names in popular music.
ACL is known for featuring a wide variety of musical genres, including rock, country, blues, folk, and hip-hop, among others.
