Zombies is a French film directed by Bertrand Bonello that takes place in Kinshasa, the capital city of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The film is set in a dystopian future where a mysterious virus has turned much of the population into zombies.
The story centers on several characters, including a hairdresser named Anaïs who runs a bustling salon in the heart of the city, and a young man named Soleiman who has been infected with the virus but is miraculously immune to its effects.
