Zombie Strippers! is a satirical horror-comedy that was released in 2008, directed by Jay Lee and starring Robert Englund and Jenna Jameson. The movie follows a group of strippers who become infected with a virus created by the government to resurrect soldiers in order to fight in Iraq. The virus is accidentally leaked into a strip club in Sartre, Nebraska, and infects several of the dancers. Rather than dying, the women become stronger, sexier and more aggressive, and decide to continue their work as zombie strippers.
The leader of the strippers, Kat (Jameson), becomes the first super zombie stripper and soon her fellow strippers join her side, even as some of them refuse to become zombies. As the virus spreads throughout the club and to other customers, a group of conservative soldiers arrive to try and contain the outbreak. However, the soldiers quickly become infatuated with the zombie strippers, and realize they can also make a lot of money from the unusual attraction.
As the virus continues to mutate and grow stronger, the zombie strippers begin to question whether they should continue living in disguise, or reveal their true forms to the world. Meanwhile, a scientist (Englund) who created the virus tries to contain the outbreak and cover up his involvement, leading to a climactic showdown between the strippers and the government.
Zombie Strippers! is a bizarre and over-the-top horror-comedy that uses its premise to explore themes of conformity, sexuality, and government conspiracy. It features plenty of gore, nudity, and satirical humor, and has gained a cult following since its release.
