In the movie Zombie Lake, the small village is still haunted by the memories of the atrocities committed by the German soldiers during the war. One day, a group of young women decide to go swimming in a nearby lake, unaware that it was where the German soldiers were disposed of.
As they swim, they are attacked and killed by the zombies of the German soldiers, who have risen from the lake. The village is thrown into chaos as more and more zombies emerge from the lake, attacking and killing anyone in their path.
The mayor of the village, who had collaborated with the Germans during the war, tries to keep the zombie outbreak a secret to avoid any blame. However, the French Resistance soon learns of the situation and decides to take action.
As the resistance fighters battle the zombies, they uncover a sinister plot involving the mayor and a group of scientists who were conducting secret experiments on the bodies of the dead German soldiers.
In a climactic battle, the resistance fighters and villagers band together to defeat the zombies and put an end to the sinister experiment. The village is finally able to lay to rest the ghosts of the past and move on from the horrors of the war.
