Zenon Kar is a spirited and adventurous 13-year-old girl who lives with her parents on a space station orbiting the Earth called the Wheel. She spends her days playing with her best friend, Nebula, and surfing on her hoverboard. However, her idyllic life is disrupted when she uncovers a sinister plot by the station's owner, Parker Wyndham, who plans to shut down the wheel and move all its inhabitants to Earth.
Zenon tries to warn her parents about Parker's plan, but they dismiss her concerns as childish imagination. Determined to save her home, Zenon enlists the help of Nebula and they sneak into the station's computer systems to gather evidence. However, they are caught by Parker's henchmen and Zenon is banished to Earth as punishment.
Stranded on Earth, Zenon is forced to adapt to life on a planet she knows little about. She meets a boy named Greg and his family, who help her get acclimated to her new surroundings. At the same time, Zenon discovers that Parker is planning to wreak havoc on Earth and destroy the space station, which is still filled with people.
Zenon and her new friends race against time to warn her family and save the Wheel from Parker's nefarious plans. In the process, Zenon learns valuable lessons about courage, friendship, and determination. With her quick wit and resourcefulness, she proves that even a young girl can make a big difference in the face of adversity.
