Zeitgeist: the Movie is divided into three parts.
Part I presents a skeptical view of Christianity, arguing that the story of Jesus Christ is a mythical composite of various religious traditions that predate Christianity. The film uses various sources, such as the Egyptian myth of Horus and the story of Mithras, to argue that the similarities between these older myths and the story of Jesus Christ suggest that the latter is not historically accurate.
