Zoey is a straight-A student and a dedicated dancer, whose world is rocked when her mother remarries and she gains three step-brothers (Charlie, Adam, and Ben) and a new step-dad. Zoey is not happy with her new situation and is disgusted by her new stepbrothers' messy lifestyle and general lack of respect for the household. She quickly discovers a dog-training app on her phone that she uses to control her new stepbrothers, who are more like dogs to her. She trains them to do her chores, complete her homework, and even teach her step-dad a lesson to make him less strict. However, Zoey soon learns that her powers aren't infallible. Her step-brothers figure out what she's doing and start to rebel against her, and she must find a way to reclaim her authority while also learning to appreciate her new family. In the end, Zoey realizes the importance of communication and compromise, learning to love her new family and thrive in her new home.
