Yuppi Du is a 1986 tragicomedy film directed by Italian director, Adriano Celentano. The film follows the life of a carefree and happy-go-lucky man named Felice Della Pietà, who lives a simple life in Milan. Felice is a garbage collector by profession and is content with his modest income. He is indifferent to the materialistic things of life and does not give much importance to money.

Felice's life takes a turn when he falls in love with Sylvia, a beautiful and ambitious woman whose main goal is to become rich. Sylvia's father is a wealthy industrialist who disapproves of the relationship between his daughter and a garbage collector. When Sylvia realizes that she won't be able to live her life of luxury with Felice, she decides to fake her own death in a car accident. She does this in order to get the insurance money and leave Felice behind.

Felice is devastated by Sylvia's death but soon discovers the truth behind her disappearance. He becomes determined to track her down and get revenge. In his pursuit, he meets a variety of characters, including a group of homeless people who become his close friends.

The film was a commercial and critical success in Italy. It is known for its satirical commentary on the yuppie culture of the 1980s and the obsession with wealth. The movie's soundtrack, which features music by Adriano Celentano, also received positive reviews. Yuppi Du is a must-see for anyone interested in Italian cinema and social satire.
