Yusei Fudo, the protagonist of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's series, finds himself transported to the past after being attacked by a mysterious figure who steals his powerful card, the Stardust Dragon. He soon discovers that he has fallen through a time-slip created by the villainous Paradox, who is traveling through time to erase important moments in Duel Monsters history and change the course of the game's evolution.
After arriving in the past, Yusei meets with Jaden Yuki, the protagonist of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX series, and Yugi Muto, the protagonist of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series. The three protagonists team up to stop Paradox from destroying the pivotal moment when Duel Monsters is invented by Maximillion Pegasus.
Together, Yusei, Jaden, and Yugi travel through time and space, facing off against some of the most iconic Yu-Gi-Oh! villains along the way, including Seto Kaiba, Jack Atlas, and the Dark Magician. They eventually confront Paradox in a final showdown, where they must use all their combined skills to defeat the villain and restore the timeline.
