In the movie, Albert Einstein (played by Yahoo Serious) is portrayed as a quirky, eccentric genius whose ideas and inventions are often dismissed by the conservative scientific community. Growing up on his family's apple farm in Tasmania, Albert becomes fascinated by the workings of the universe and starts conducting experiments in his makeshift laboratory.
When he discovers the process of splitting the beer atom, he believes he has stumbled upon the key to global prosperity and decides to travel to Sydney to patent his invention. Along the way, he meets Marie Curie (Odile Le Clezio), a fellow scientist who becomes his love interest and intellectual equal.
However, not everyone is supportive of Albert's revolutionary ideas. He encounters a group of corrupt businessmen who try to steal his patent and a group of pompous scholars who belittle his experiments. Despite these setbacks, Albert stays true to his vision and eventually succeeds in making his invention a reality.
The movie is a comedy, filled with slapstick humor and wacky gags. It is best known for its irreverent portrayal of historical figures and its satirical take on science and academia. The film was a critical and commercial success upon its release in 1988 and helped launch the career of its writer, director, and star, Yahoo Serious.
