Rekindling Love in Small Town

Young Adult is a 2011 comedy-drama film directed by Jason Reitman and written by Diablo Cody. The film stars Charlize Theron as Mavis Gary, a fiction writer who divorces her husband and returns to her hometown in Minnesota. While there, she reconnects with a former classmate, Buddy Slade (played by Patrick Wilson), who she had a crush on in high school.

As Mavis tries to rekindle a romance with Buddy, she discovers that he is now happily married to Beth (played by Elizabeth Reaser) and has a newborn daughter.
