You Got Served is a 2004 dance drama film directed by Christopher B. Stokes and produced by Marcus Morton. The film tells the story of two best friends, Elgin (Marques Houston) and David (Omari Grandberry), who lead a small dance crew called "The Lil' Saintz" in Los Angeles, competing in dance battles at various venues around the city.

The film begins with a dance battle where Lil' Saintz lose to a rival crew, the Ruff Ryders, due to Elgin's own personal issues. Following this, they meet a female hip-hop dancer, Carmen (Jennifer Freeman), who joins their crew and helps them re-focus their energy and style.

Meanwhile, a group of rich suburban kids led by Wade (Christopher Jones) come to town and cause havoc by stealing moves and dancers from other crews. This leads to the Lil' Saintz losing their dancers to Wade's crew, who call themselves the "Rapture Dance Crew."

Desperate to win them back, Elgin and David decide to enter a dance battle organized by Mr. Rad (Steve Harvey) where the winners will receive a cash prize of $50,000. However, they soon realize that they will have to face off against the Ruff Ryders, who now joined forces with the Rapture Dance Crew, making it the toughest competition yet.

In the final battle, the Lil' Saintz, with Carmen's help, perform an explosive routine that impresses the judges and beats the Ruff Ryders. They win the cash prize and their dancers back, but Elgin has to confront his insecurities and the fact that he betrayed his best friend, David.

The film featured a soundtrack with several popular hip-hop and R&B artists, including B2K, Lil' Kim, and Omarion, who played David in the film. Notably, the film's success led to a direct-to-DVD sequel, You Got Served: Beat the World (2011), which starred Tyrone Brown, Mishael Morgan, and Nikki Grant.
