In the movie You Are My Vampire, Gyu-Jung has been struggling as a writer and working at her mother's side dish shop to make ends meet. She is also secretly seeing her best friend's boyfriend, adding to her personal struggles.
One day, Gyu-Jung decides to write a novel about a vampire in the hopes that it will be her breakthrough success. However, shortly after starting her novel, a strange man named Nam-Gul appears and rents a room at her father's lodging home. Nam-Gul is mysterious and seems to have a strange aversion to garlic, which leads Gyu-Jung to believe that he is a vampire.
Despite her initial fear, Gyu-Jung becomes fascinated with Nam-Gul and begins a strange relationship with him. Nam-Gul becomes a patron of the side dish shop, requesting customized dishes without garlic, and Gyu-Jung begins to write her novel with Nam-Gul as her inspiration.
As Gyu-Jung spends more time with Nam-Gul, she begins to uncover his mysterious past and his true identity. However, her relationship with him becomes increasingly complicated as she struggles with her own personal issues and the fear of losing him.
