The movie X-Men follows the story of two mutants, Rogue and Wolverine, who come to Professor Xavier's private academy for mutants. The academy serves as a safe haven for those with unique abilities, who often face discrimination and persecution in the outside world.
As Rogue and Wolverine adjust to their new life at the academy, they become embroiled in a battle against an extremist mutant group called the Brotherhood of Mutants. The Brotherhood, led by Magneto, believes that mutants are superior to humans and should rule over them.
The X-Men, a team of mutants who have dedicated themselves to protecting both mutants and humans, must stop the Brotherhood from carrying out their plan to bring about a mutant revolution. Along the way, they must also confront the dark pasts and personal demons that haunt many of the team members.
The movie's themes of acceptance, prejudice, and self-discovery are woven throughout the action-packed plot, which is filled with intense fight scenes and impressive displays of mutant powers. With a cast of well-known actors, including Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier, X-Men was a critical and commercial success, spawning multiple sequels and spin-offs.
