X2 is a 2003 superhero film that follows the adventures of Professor Charles Xavier and his team of X-Men as they try to stop Col. William Stryker from wiping out all mutants. Stryker, a former military scientist with a grudge against mutants, launches a surprise attack on Xavier's mansion and kidnaps Xavier in order to gain access to his Cerebro machine, a device that can locate any mutant in the world.
Meanwhile, Wolverine is on a personal mission to uncover his mysterious past, and his search leads him to a secret government facility where he encounters a young mutant named Laura who possesses powers similar to his own. With the help of Storm, Jean Grey, and Cyclops, the X-Men must fend off attacks from Stryker's army of mutant-hunting robots and confront their own inner demons, including Magneto's continuing quest for mutant dominance and Jean's growing psychic powers.
As the plot thickens, the stakes get higher and the action more intense, culminating in a thrilling showdown between the X-Men, Magneto, Mystique, and Stryker on the shores of Alkali Lake.
