The movie X Moor follows American documentarians Georgia and Matt as they venture to Exmoor in North Devon to film a mythical beast that is said to be stalking the remote terrain. The pair is motivated by a £25,000 reward being promoted by a local newspaper.
Upon their arrival, the duo sets up a forest camp with an old acquaintance, who harbours dark secrets, as they prepare to capture footage of the elusive creature. The trio fix 42 cameras to the trees and rocks, linked back to a computer nerve centre where nothing should go unnoticed as they take turns to night watch.
However, things take a gruesome turn when they discover putrefying body parts all neatly tied up. As more and more body parts are found, it becomes clear that they are in the lair of a beast - but not the one they were expecting. They have stumbled upon a serial killer’s playground, and it's not long before they become his most wanted prey.
The movie is a horror-thriller that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats with intense chase scenes, gory imagery, and suspenseful music. It explores the themes of trust, survival, and the fear of the unknown in a remote and eerie setting.
