Wyvern is a made-for-TV movie that was released in 2009. The film focuses on the fictional town of Beaver Mills, Alaska. The town is located on the coast, and it is gearing up for its annual Winterfest celebration when a plane crashes on the outskirts of town. When the residents go to investigate, they discover that the pilot has been killed by a large, prehistoric creature that has thawed out of the ice.
