The movie begins with a group of inmates being transported on a bus through the backwoods of West Virginia. The bus crashes, and the inmates and their guards find themselves stranded and lost in the forest.
As they try to find their way back to civilization, they come across an abandoned research facility and decide to take refuge there. However, they soon realize that they are not alone in the forest and that a group of inbred cannibals is hunting them down.
The survivors must band together and fight for their lives against the cannibals, who are vicious and horribly disfigured due to generations of interbreeding. The group must use their wits and resourcefulness to outsmart and defeat the cannibals while also dealing with their own internal conflicts and struggles.
As the tension builds and the body count rises, the survivors must make difficult choices and sacrifices in order to make it out of the forest alive. Will they be able to survive against the odds, or will they become the next victims of the cannibals?
