In Write Before Christmas, Jessica (played by Torrey DeVitto) has recently gone through a breakup and is feeling down during the holiday season. In an effort to lift her mood and connect with the important people in her life, she decides to send Christmas cards to some of the people who have impacted her over the years.
First, she writes a card to her aunt who raised her (played by Lillian Doucet-Roche), thanking her for all the love and support she has provided throughout her life. Next, she sends a card to her younger brother who is currently serving in the military (played by Chad Michael Murray), expressing her pride and gratitude for his service.
Jessica also sends a card to a popstar named Jason (played by Drew Seeley) whose music has been a constant source of inspiration for her. She shares how his lyrics have helped her through tough times and how much his music means to her.
Another card goes to her former music teacher (played by Marina Sirtis), who encouraged her love of singing and helped her find her voice as a performer. Finally, Jessica sends a card to her best friend, Gabby (played by Raven-Symoné), who is always honest with her and has been a constant support system.
As Jessica sends out these heartfelt cards, she begins to feel more connected to the people in her life and finds comfort and joy in the holiday season. Along the way, she also begins to realize what she truly wants for her future and takes steps to make her dreams a reality.
