Zia and his friend, Eugene, meet a quirky hitchhiker named Mikal who joins them on their journey. Along the way, they encounter various other characters who have also committed suicide, including a man who can't speak because he shot himself in the head and a group of people who are stuck in a never-ending loop of reliving their suicide.
As Zia and his friends continue their search for Zia's ex-girlfriend, they discover that the afterlife is not as bleak as they initially thought. They encounter moments of joy, love, and even redemption as they navigate through this strange new world. Along the way, Zia starts to question his decision to end his life and begins to find a new sense of purpose.
Ultimately, Zia and his friends realize that they can still find happiness and meaning in the afterlife, despite their past actions. The film ends on a hopeful note, with Zia and his friends embracing the idea of moving forward and embracing life, even in death.
