The movie Wonderful Days, also known as Sky Blue, is a South Korean animated film released in 2003. The story is set in a future world where civilization has collapsed due to wars, environmental degradation, and depletion of natural resources. The only thriving city left is Ecoban, which is built on a platform suspended in the air above the ruins of the old world.
Ecoban is an advanced city that runs on a complex system of machinery that converts pollution into energy. However, this system is also responsible for perpetuating the pollution that keeps the city running. The people of Ecoban live in a dystopian society where they are required to work and contribute to the maintenance of this system, even if it means causing further environmental destruction.

The protagonist of the film is Jay, a former Ecoban soldier who turns his back on the city's oppressive regime and joins forces with the rebels of Marr. Jay becomes acquainted with Shua, a young girl who dreams of a blue sky, which she has only seen in old recordings. Shua's grandfather, Dr. Noah, is an old scientist who has been working on a project to purify the air and restore the balance to the environment. However, his vision is not shared by the leaders of Ecoban, who see him as a threat to their power.
As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that the conflict between Ecoban and Marr is not just about resources but also a struggle between hope and despair. Jay and Shua's journey leads them to unearth the secrets of Ecoban's past and find a way to restore the balance of nature.
