Without a Paddle is a 2004 adventure-comedy film directed by Steven Brill. The film stars Seth Green, Matthew Lillard, Dax Shepard, and Burt Reynolds in a cameo appearance. The story revolves around three childhood friends - Tom (Dax Shepard), Jerry (Matthew Lillard), and Dan (Seth Green). They grew apart as they got older, but come back together for the funeral of their friend Billy (Anthony Starr), who died while attempting to find the lost treasure of D.B. Cooper.
While looking through Billy's old stuff, they discover a map and clues that could lead them to the missing loot. They decide to follow the clues and go on the adventure of a lifetime. They set out on a canoe trip down a dangerous river in Oregon, but soon find themselves in trouble as they encounter dangerous animals, underwater rapids, and hillbilly pot farmers.
