The friends, Jim, Linda, and Brandon, are initially skeptical about the Ouija board but decide to try it out for fun. They successfully connect with a young boy named David who communicates through the board. As they continue to use the board, they become more and more obsessed with David's messages and start to experience supernatural occurrences.
Unknown to them, the board has opened a portal for an evil spirit named Malfeitor to enter their world. Malfeitor takes control of Jim's body and starts to wreak havoc on their lives. Linda and Brandon must work together to save Jim and close the portal before Malfeitor destroys them all.
As the story unfolds, the friends discover that David was a young boy who was killed in their building years ago, and his spirit has been trapped ever since. They realize that they have unknowingly disturbed his restless soul and opened the way for Malfeitor to enter their lives.
The movie is a classic example of the horror genre and features intense suspense, jump scares, and terrifying paranormal events. It explores the dangers of using Ouija boards and dabbling in the supernatural without fully understanding the consequences. Ultimately, the friends must confront their own fears and inner demons to defeat Malfeitor and save their friend.
