Upon discovering their mother's absence, Long and Lily Johnson are devastated and confused. They cannot seem to find any answers as to where she could have gone and why she left them. In their despair, Long comes up with a plan to find a unicorn with magical blood, reasoning that if they can capture it and use its blood as a wish-granter, they may be able to wish their mother back to them.
Lily is initially skeptical, knowing that unicorns are mythical creatures that are notoriously difficult to find.
