Wish Dragon is an animated movie that tells the story of Din, a young man in modern-day China who has big dreams but limited resources. Din’s life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers a teapot that he inherited from his grandmother. The teapot contains a wish-granting dragon named Long, who offers to fulfill three of Din's wishes.
As Din makes his wishes, he realizes that he doesn't have everything he truly wants. With Long's help, Din embarks on a journey to discover the true meaning of happiness and how to find it. Along the way, he reunites with his childhood friend, Lina, who dreams of going to college but is struggling to get there.
Together, Din and Lina use their wishes to help each other achieve their dreams. Din learns that true happiness can't be bought with money, while Lina realizes that there's more to life than just getting a degree. As their friendship grows, Din and Lina find that they have everything they need to be happy.
However, Din's wishes also catch the attention of a wealthy businessman who wants to exploit Long's power for his own gain. This sets up a thrilling climax in which Din and Lina must work together to stop the businessman and preserve the magical power of Long.
In the end, they both learn that the greatest wish of all is to have good friends and be grateful for what they already have. The movie ends with Din and Lina accepting their humble lives joyfully and fulfilling their dreams by working hard.
