Wine Country is a 2019 comedy film directed by Amy Poehler who also stars in it, along with an ensemble cast of comedic actresses including Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Maya Rudolph, Paula Pell, and Emily Spivey. The film follows a group of longtime friends, who call themselves "the six pack," as they reunite to celebrate the 50th birthday of one of their own. They decide to go on a trip to Napa Valley, California, known for its scenic vineyards and wineries, to indulge in wine tasting, scenic tours and relaxation. However, each of the women has their own personal issues that they are dealing with, which come to light as the trip progresses. The film blends comedy and drama, as the women navigate their relationships with each other and confront their own midlife crises. Along the way, they meet some interesting characters, including a flirtatious bartender, an eccentric winemaker, and some local tourists. The film is a tribute to friendship and aging gracefully, with a lot of laughs and heartwarming moments.
