Wild Game follows the story of a struggling rancher, Tom, who is approached by a famous movie star, Jake, with an offer to help him hunt elk on his property. Tom reluctantly agrees, hoping to make some quick cash. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when they are caught by local law enforcement.
During the confrontation, one of the officers is accidentally killed, and Tom and Jake find themselves on the run from the law. As they try to evade capture, tensions rise between the two men as they begin to turn on each other. Tom is torn between his loyalty to Jake and his desire to do the right thing.
