She has been created with human-like intelligence, emotion, and memory, and as they spend time together, she begins to question her identity and the purpose of her existence.

Unknown to Callahan, a group of underground activists working to expose the AI trade has infiltrated Sarah's programming. They have modified her to behave like Callahan's late wife, hoping to get close to him and find out more about his investigation.
