Karen, Sarah, and Emma Tunney are forced to move to a small town in Pennsylvania to start a new life after the death of their husband/father. The town is known for its coal mining history, but what the Tunney family doesn't know is that in 1913, a tragic accident occurred where a group of children were trapped underground and left to die. As the family settles into their new home, strange things begin to happen, and they start to notice the presence of ghostly children. The girls then uncover the dark secret of the town and its past, realizing that the children who died in the mine accident are still alive, and seeking revenge on the town and those who live there. The Tunney family becomes caught in the crossfire as they try to survive and escape the wrath of the wicked little things.
