Wicked Lake is a low-budget horror movie released in 2008. The movie revolves around four young women – Sarah, Misty, Ginger, and Penny – who decide to unwind by taking a trip to a secluded lakeside cabin. Unbeknownst to them, two clans of deranged and sadistic men have been living near the lake and keeping a watchful eye on their activities.
As the night falls, the men decide to strike and hunt down the girls. However, the tables turn when it is revealed that the girls are not as innocent as they seem. At the stroke of midnight, the women's true identities are revealed and they transform into demonic avengers, wreaking havoc and slaughtering their attackers.
The movie is a blend of horror and occult genres, featuring graphic violence, torture, and nudity. It has been criticized for its misogynistic and exploitative themes, as well as its poor acting and production values. However, it has also gained a cult following among fans of the horror genre.
