"Why Don't You Just Die!" is a 2018 Russian dark comedy and thriller film written and directed by Kirill Sokolov. The film stars Vitaliy Khaev as Andrey, the detective and father, who invites his daughter's boyfriend, Matvey (played by Aleksandr Kuznetsov), to the apartment in order to kill him. Matvey, however, comes prepared with a hammer and a desire to kill Andrey himself.
