Where Is My Friend's House? is a 1987 Iranian film directed by Abbas Kiarostami. The film follows the story of an 8 year old boy named Ahmed, who accidentally takes his friend Mohamed Reza's notebook home with him after school. The notebook contains Mohamed Reza's homework and if he doesn't submit it the next day, he will be expelled from school.

Ahmed realizes his mistake but can't find Mohamed Reza's house and is determined to return the notebook to him. He sets out on a journey through a rural village, asking different people if they know where Mohamed Reza lives. However, he faces several obstacles along the way, including language barriers, hostile adults, and harsh weather conditions.

As the day progresses, Ahmed becomes more and more desperate, knowing that his friend's future is at stake. He finally reaches Mohamed Reza's house and returns the notebook, but not before undergoing several life lessons about determination and perseverance.
