The film follows Sanna, who escapes from her tribe after narrowly avoiding being a sacrifice to the sun. She soon comes across another tribe, where she meets Tara, a young man who is ridiculed by his tribe for being mostly hairless, unlike the other hairy men. Sanna and Tara form a strong bond, even though their tribes are at war with each other.
Meanwhile, a pterodactyl steals a baby from Sanna's former tribe, and they believe that the gods are punishing them for letting Sanna escape. They set out to find her and take her back to sacrifice her once again.
As Sanna and Tara's love grows, they face various obstacles, including attacks from giant sea scorpions and a terrifying Allosaurus. However, they are determined to overcome these obstacles and be together.
In the end, Sanna's former tribe, led by their chief, invades the tribe where Sanna is living. However, Sanna and Tara's love is strong enough to bring the two tribes together, and they unite to fend off the attackers. The film ends with Sanna and Tara walking towards the sunset, their love conquering all.
