During their honeymoon on a tropical island, singer-songwriter Maya and her husband, guitarist Jack, find themselves stranded when a fierce storm hits unexpectedly. As they struggle to survive, tensions mount between them as they confront difficult truths about their relationship.
Maya begins to question if she truly loves Jack or if she simply enjoys the idea of being in a relationship with him, while Jack struggles with his own fears of failure and inadequacy as a musician. As they confront these issues, they are forced to confront the question of whether their marriage can really survive.
As they search for a way to escape the island, Maya and Jack must also confront a dangerous man who has been living on the island for years. As tensions rise and the danger becomes more intense, they must work together to overcome the obstacles in their way and to rediscover the love that brought them together in the first place.
