Wendell & Wild is a stop-motion animated film that follows brothers Wendell and Wild, two demon siblings who have fallen on hard times and decide to summon themselves to the human world in order to acquire new souls. They enlist the help of Kat Elliot, a tough and guilt-ridden teenage girl who is dealing with the loss of her mother.
Kat agrees to help the brothers summon themselves to the Land of the Living, but in exchange, she demands that they help her get revenge on a school bully. This leads to a hilariously bizarre and unpredictable adventure filled with supernatural hijinks, eccentric characters, and plenty of laughs.
Throughout the course of the film, Wendell and Wild must navigate the complexities of human society and learn about the power of friendship and redemption. Along the way, they encounter a variety of memorable characters, including a sassy jazz singer, a flamboyant demon prince, and a group of monstrous carnival performers.
The film features the talents of writer and director Henry Selick, who is known for his work on other beloved stop-motion animated films such as Coraline and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
