The movie Welcome to Mooseport follows former US President Monroe Cole (Gene Hackman) as he retires to his hometown of Mooseport, Maine. However, things take an unexpected turn when he decides to run for mayor against the town's beloved handyman, Harold Harrison (Ray Romano).
