The film revolves around three friends - Alexis, Val, and Beverly - who are on their way to a heavy-metal concert in the Midwest. They meet three guys - Mark, Kovacs, and Ivan - at the concert and invite them to an afterparty at Alexis's country home.
As the group parties and drinks, they begin playing a game of Truth or Dare, which quickly turns dark when they start revealing dark secrets. Soon after, the party is interrupted by news of a killing spree in the area, believed to be the work of a satanic cult.
As the night progresses, the group begins to suspect each other of being the killers, and tensions rise as more bodies pile up. The movie keeps the audience guessing until the very end as to who the real killer is.
The film is directed by Marc Meyers and stars Alexandra Daddario, Maddie Hasson, and Amy Forsyth as the three friends, and Johnny Knoxville in a supporting role. It received mostly positive reviews for its clever twist on the slasher genre and strong performances from the cast.
