Documentary  United States of America

We Are Not Done Yet is a documentary film that follows a group of veterans and active-duty service members who participate in an arts workshop sponsored by the United Service Organizations (USO) at Walter Reed National Military Hospital. The workshop focuses on using writing and poetry as a way to combat the traumas of war and help express feelings that are often difficult to articulate.

Throughout the film, the participants work on their writing and poetry, and get feedback and support from the workshop facilitators and each other. They also share their work with an audience at a live performance.

We Are Not Done Yet highlights the power of art and community in helping veterans and service members heal and cope with the aftermath of war. It is a moving and inspiring portrait of the resilience and strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity.
