Dawn and Micah are two strangers who meet at a bar and hit it off immediately. They both happen to be traveling to Portland and decide to embark on a road trip together. However, their journey takes a dark turn when they become the targets of a notorious serial killer known as the Mechanic Maniac. With their lives in danger, Dawn and Micah are forced to trust and rely on each other as they try to outrun the killer and survive the night. Along the way, they discover dark secrets about each other and must confront their own past traumas. The tension builds up as the Mechanic Maniac closes in on them, and Dawn and Micah must use their wits and fight for survival. Will they make it to Portland alive or become another victim of the Mechanic Maniac's deadly rampage?
