After the success of their cable access TV show, Wayne and Garth are approached by a music executive named Bobby Cahn, who offers them a chance to host a music festival called "Waynestock." Wayne and Garth are excited to accept the offer, but they quickly realize that they need to raise a significant amount of money to finance the concert.
Meanwhile, Wayne's girlfriend Cassandra is offered a recording contract by a sleazy producer named Benjamin Oliver. Wayne becomes jealous of their professional relationship and worries that Benjamin may try to steal Cassandra away from him.
Garth, on the other hand, is pursued by a beautiful woman named Honey Hornee, who is only interested in his money. Garth is initially flattered by her attention but eventually realizes that she is not interested in him for who he is.
As the preparations for Waynestock continue, Wayne and Garth have a series of misadventures, including a run-in with a crazed roadie, a disastrous attempt to book a band, and a hilarious encounter with Alice Cooper.
Despite these setbacks, Waynestock is a massive success, and Wayne and Garth are able to raise enough money to finance the concert and save their show. Along the way, they learn important lessons about love, friendship, and the power of rock and roll.
