Watching follows the story of a man named David who wakes up in an unfamiliar room with no memory of how he got there. As he begins to explore his surroundings, he realizes that he is being monitored by an unknown entity through a series of surveillance cameras. David soon discovers that he is not alone and that he is one of several strangers who have been abducted and trapped in the same location for an unknown purpose.
As the group of captives begins to search for a way out, they soon realize that their captor is watching their every move, and any attempts to escape are met with deadly consequences. As tensions rise and secrets are revealed, David must confront his own past and the reason why he was chosen for this twisted experiment.
Throughout the movie, there are also flashbacks to David's life before the abduction, which provide insight into his character and the events that led him to become trapped in this situation.
