In the movie Watchers, the boy is named Travis and he quickly becomes attached to the dog, whom he names Einstein. As he spends more time with Einstein, he begins to notice that the dog seems to understand him and even responds to some of his commands. It turns out that Einstein was part of a genetic experiment in which scientists were trying to create a super-intelligent dog, but Einstein escaped the lab and has been on the run ever since.

Meanwhile, a more sinister creature is also on the loose - a genetically enhanced monster known only as the Outsider. The Outsider is much larger and more dangerous than Einstein, and it has been trained to track and kill the runaway dog. When Travis realizes that Einstein is being pursued, he teams up with a young woman named Nora who works at the lab and has her own reasons for wanting to protect Einstein.

As Travis and Nora try to evade the Outsider, they also have to contend with the lab's head of security, a ruthless man named Stark who will stop at nothing to recover his valuable experiment. Along the way, they learn more about Einstein's incredible intelligence and get a glimpse into the dangers of genetic engineering.

In the climactic scene, Travis and Nora face off against the Outsider in a thrilling showdown. With Einstein's help, they manage to outsmart the monster and save the day. In the end, Travis decides to keep Einstein as his own pet, knowing that there is no place for such a remarkable dog in a world of genetic experiments and corporate greed.
