Warm Bodies is a romantic comedy horror film directed by Jonathan Levine and based on the novel of the same name by Isaac Marion. The film follows the story of R, a young zombie who is different from the others of his kind. While the other zombies stay in an airport, R roams the ruins of a post-apocalyptic world alone.
When R and his pack attack a group of humans, he meets Julie, the girlfriend of one of his victims, and rescues her from the other zombies. R takes Julie back to his home, which is a plane surrounded by a vast sea of dead people.
During their time together, R and Julie start to develop feelings for each other. As R's love for Julie grows, he begins to transform into a more human-like form. This transformation spreads to other zombies and leads to a potential cure for the zombie outbreak.
As the two fall deeper in love, they must overcome obstacles like Julie's father, the leader of a group of humans, who is determined to kill all zombies. Along the way, they encounter other survivors who are skeptical of the possibility of a zombie cure.
With the help of Julie and her group of survivors, R sets out to find a way to reverse the zombie plague and bring an end to the apocalypse.
