The three young astronomers, Alice, Pete, and Ryan, are conducting research on Mars when suddenly the planet is attacked by an alien race. Despite being kilometers away from the first explosion, the trio quickly realizes that they are not safe and must do everything in their power to survive.
With limited resources and no communication with Earth, Alice, Pete, and Ryan band together to find a way off the red planet. Along the way, they encounter other survivors, including a rogue Martian soldier who agrees to help them in exchange for their assistance in taking down the invading forces.
As they fight for their survival, the young astronomers begin to uncover the true motives behind the alien invasion. With time running out and all odds stacked against them, Alice, Pete, and Ryan must put their scientific knowledge and determination to the test to save their own lives and stop the aliens from destroying all that they hold dear.
