In War of the Colossal Beast, Glenn Manning survives the fall from the Hoover Dam but is left with severe brain damage and disfigured beyond recognition. He somehow makes his way to a remote area of Mexico, where he lives as a savage giant, terrifying the locals with his monstrous appearance and unpredictable behavior.
When the US Army learns of Manning's survival, they send a team to capture him and bring him back for study. But Manning proves to be a formidable foe, crushing cars and buildings in his path as he rampages through the countryside. Even more troubling, he seems to be fixated on a young woman who reminds him of his former fiancée.
As the military attempts to subdue the giant using everything from tanks to helicopters to electric fences, Manning struggles to regain some semblance of humanity and come to terms with the tragedy that befell him. But will he be able to control his rage and avoid a catastrophic showdown with his former countrymen?
War of the Colossal Beast is a gripping sci-fi horror film that explores themes of identity, loss, and the limits of science. With intense action sequences and memorable characters, it remains a cult classic to this day.
